How it works
1. Patent Search Results
The results of your PerfectPatent™ Search in step 1 are used to work out the best strategy to get PerfectPatent™ protection for your invention.
2. Drafting
Your provisional patent application is fully drafted. Whatever drawings that are available are used as part of the provisional patent application.
3. Patent Pending Status
Once your application is ready, it’s filed at the patent office, generating a patent application number and official patent pending status.
4. Confirmation Email
We email you the official patent office filing receipt, with your patent application number, and date of filing.
5. First-To-File
You’re now patent pending for 12 months and have given yourself the best chance of being the first to file to patent your invention.

Note: Inventors who invented their invention when in America, (whether they are American or not), must get permission to file abroad from the USPTO, before using this service. This can be done via filing a provisional patent application at the USPTO, or quicker still (within 10 days and for only $50) by filing a ‘petition for expedited foreign filing license’.
